Analyse & monitor customer PPM by monitoring the rejection trends and understanding the customer specific quality requirements & take the necessary counter-measures, if required
Stimulate employees from production department in Chennai Auto glass Plant to partcipate in various quality improvement plans to increase the level of quality
Monitor the compliance to TS 16949/ ISO 14001/TQM/TPM systems
Monitor TQM Audit score / TQM Review meetings and number of NCR's in internal / external audits
Monitor TPM activities in AIS Chennai Auto Glass plant as per defined plan
Plan and develop required skill-set in department members as per respective roles and responsibility by calculating competency mapping score and monitoring actual training hours in accordance with the plan
Set and monitor performance targets of accountability and objectives of department members as per the plan and take necessary actions to ensure the proper implementation of performance management & deployment management system in Production department at AIS Auto Chennai plant
Analyze actual PMD reviews, annual reviews and appraisal of Non-PMD staff in accordance with the defined plan
Build up and maintain high morale and motivation in department members
Focus on reducing absentism rate of direct labour and indirect labour
Prepare and monitor resource & manpower plan to finalize budget for the two in order to adhere to the company standards
Montor yield for laminated or tempered glass as applicable in AIS Chennai Auto Glass plant to achieve the budget cost
Review & conduct group activity to reduce cost of production consummables
Analyze actual cost savings as per the defined plan
Monitor and review manpower productivity sq. meter produce/person/month
Prepare and monitor annual and monthly production budget for production quantity, yields, utility consumption, production of spares & consummables, overheads and capital expenditure
Ensure timeliness of budget submission
Achieve and ensure maximum capacity utilization in order to achieve budgeted production volume and cost
Monitor gaps in process with the help of gap analysis and results montoring on daily basis
Develop, upgrade and modify production equipments, processes and systems as per business requirement
Monitor no. of improvement projects initiated and actual savings as compared to planed savings
Monitor the process enhancement projects to ensure Quality improvement of products as per customer specific requirement and achieve desired level of productivity
Monitor the PPC plan in AIS Chennai Auto glass plant and take necessary actions to adhere to the set production targets
Monitor & implement SOP's for safety to build safe working environment by adhering to safety norms in place
Undertake learning and development program for self and team members to ensure effective knowledge capability enhancement
