Customer Service Representative
Location: Rue Des Futailles, Montreal, QC H1N 2G4
Schedule: Monday to Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Pay Rate: $21.00/hour
Tenure: Full Time, Ongoing
We are currently seeking a Customer Service Representative to join a busy logistics and distribution environment in Montreal. This role is ideal for a personable and organized professional with experience in logistics administration, customer service, and office support.
The successful candidate will serve as a key point of contact for customers, drivers, and internal teams while ensuring shipping documentation and communications are handled accurately and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and process Bills of Lading (BOLs)
- Create and print shipping labels and related documentation
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email
- Maintain accurate shipping and customer records
- Coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams regarding shipments
- Enter and update information in company systems
- Use Microsoft Word and Excel for documentation, reporting, and data entry
- Provide general administrative and customer service support
- Ensure timely and professional communication with customers and internal stakeholders
Qualifications
- Previous experience in customer service, logistics coordination, transportation, or office administration
- Experience preparing Bills of Lading (BOLs)
- Familiarity with shipping labels and transportation documentation
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel (formatting, data entry, basic formulas/functions)
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Professional, friendly, and customer-focused attitude
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
