Documentation Expert – Customs Broker / Customs House Agent (Tamil Nadu)

Position Documentation Expert Location Chennai Employment Type Full-time About the Role We are hiring an experienced Documentation Expert to join our Customs Broker Customs House Agent CHA operations in Chennai This role requires prior hands-on experience in customs clearance documentation transporter coordination and compliance processes Freshers will not be considered Key Responsibilities Prepare verify and file Bills of Entry B E and related customs documentation through ICEGATE Draft and manage shipping bills invoices packing lists delivery challans and other statutory documents Maintain accurate records of all import export documentation Coordinate with transporters CFS and internal teams to ensure smooth cargo movement Apply for and manage e-Way Bills and ensure GST compliance File and archive documents systematically physical digital Track shipments and monitor clearance status to avoid delays Support accounts with duty payment documentation and billing support Assist in audits and compliance checks Identify and resolve discrepancies in documentation proactively Qualifications Skills Mandatory Minimum 3-5 years of proven experience in documentation under a Customs Broker CHA setup Strong knowledge of customs procedures ICEGATE portal GST and e-Way Bill processes Bachelor s degree in Commerce Logistics Supply Chain or related field preferred Proficiency in MS Office Excel Word Outlook Strong coordination communication and organizational skills Ability to work independently under pressure and meet deadlines Job Type Full time Pay 22 000 00 - 25 000 00 per month
