Job Description
Technical Architect (Azure API/Azure DevOps) - Washington, DC (Remote)
Duration: 12 months
Day-to-day Responsibilities:
- Implement and migrate legacy architecture to Azure-based API solution.
- Oversee architecture, code migration, testing, and deployment.
- Document existing code and infrastructure.
- Communicate with stakeholders to report progress and identify risks.
- Guide developers and lead the architecture team.
- Set up CI/CD pipelines.
Expected Deliverables:
- Azure-based API management system
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 8 years of IT experience with at least 5 years in enterprise integration architecture.
- Expertise with Microsoft integration services including Azure API Management, Service Bus, Event Grid, Logic Apps, Functions.
- Strong understanding of integration patterns like synchronous, asynchronous, pub/sub, event-driven, microservices.
- Experience with hybrid and multi-cloud integration scenarios.
- Strong background in integration security, governance, and compliance frameworks.
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert.
Education
- B.S. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT or equivalent
