Position: Preventative Maintenance Technician
Location: GTA Ontario
Starting Salary Range: $40,000 - $55,000
Job type: Full Time, Permanent
The impact you will have
As a Preventative Maintenance Technician, you will be promoting and completing on-site preventative maintenance and repair services on mobility related medical equipment in healthcare facilities throughout the assigned geographic territory. You will support customers by securing the best possible condition for mobility products and solutions. Your skills will help empower movement for people facing mobility challenges and increase the quality of lives for residents, patients and caregivers.
As a Preventative Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for:
- Providing preventative maintenance and load testing services at healthcare facilities.
- Providing services to customers in accordance with Arjo Canada published warranties.
- Assisting sales personnel in marketing all Arjo Canada Inc.
- Preparing and submit required/requested reports, paperwork and/or feedback.
- Maintaining expenses and required inventory within guidelines and limits.
- Maintaining a clean and organized company vehicle
- Performing other related duties as assigned.
The Skills You Will Need
- Previous experience in hands-on technical role with diagnostic or repair skills
- Excellent customer relations skills: ability to deal with internal and external customers, including Healthcare professionals using tact and diplomacy
- Ability to recommend/promote/sell products and services based on observed client needs
- Experience working out of a service vehicle is an asset
- Full Driver’s license with clean driving record.
- Knowledge of local geography / roadways is an asset
- Well organized with the ability to multi-task and prioritize
- General computer skills and comfortable using a mobile device
