Hiring: Business Lead — Dairy & Agribusiness

Aranya Dairy Farms is a growing dairy and agribusiness enterprise focused on delivering high-quality, farm-fresh dairy products to local and regional markets. We place a deep emphasis on sustainable farming practices and animal welfare.
We are seeking an entrepreneurial and execution-focused Business Lead – Dairy & Agribusiness to take complete charge of our commercial and operational footprint in Patancheru. The candidate is to join the founder’s office and help build a profitable dairy and farm-products business near Hyderabad. The candidate will work directly with the founder to connect:
farm operations → value-added dairy products → buyers → revenue → profitability
The business is built around Sahiwal milk and ghee, Punganur cattle, vercompost, and other farm products.
Core Responsibilities
1. Commercial Leadership & Market Expansion
- Build, scale, and manage sales and distribution networks across retail, wholesale, and institutional (B2B) channels.
- Develop and execute strategic initiatives to drive revenue growth, expand market share, and penetrate new territories.
- Manage high-value relationships with distributors, retail chains, and corporate procurement partners to ensure top-tier customer satisfaction.
- Analyze market trends, track key sales metrics, and design competitive pricing strategies.
2. Operations & Supply Chain Management
- Oversee daily dairy plant operations, including production scheduling, capacity planning, and resource allocation.
- Manage end-to-end inventory, ensuring optimal product availability while minimizing transit losses and product spoilage.
- Coordinate cross-functionally with Procurement, Logistics, and Finance teams to streamline processing and cold-chain distribution.
- Implement robust cost-control measures and process efficiencies to improve overall operational margins.
3. Quality Assurance & Compliance
- Maintain strict adherence to food safety, hygiene, and local regulatory standards (including FSSAI and environmental compliances).
- Collaborate with the quality control team to establish, audit, and upgrade SOPs for processing, packaging, and storage.
- Address and resolve any product quality issues or customer feedback with speed and permanent corrective actions.
4. Team Leadership & People Development
- Lead, mentor, and build the capabilities of the on-site production, sales, and field teams.
- Foster an organizational culture rooted in accountability, continuous learning, safety, and innovation.
Ideal profile:
- 5–12 years of experience in dairy, agribusiness, farm products, premium food, D2C food, or value-added products
- Founder/operator mindset
- Strong execution ability
- Comfortable working between farm realities and business goals
- Hyderabad/Telangana exposure is a plus
Compensation will include fixed pay plus performance incentives linked to revenue and profitability.
