Additionally, they are involved in compiling daily reports and enforcing kitchen safety and sanitation regulations.

Job Responsibilities:

• Food Preparation: Prepare excellent food and baked goods according to a set menu.
• Develop a summary to cross-check daily transactions and document meal preparations.
• Acknowledge the components of a meal to ensure they are all included.
• It is essential to store food accurately and cleanly to adhere to food safety standards.
• Follow designated meal schedules and departmental policies when serving food to customers.
• Cutlery Care: How to properly handle and maintain cutlery items, chiefly knives.
• Speedy Food Prep: Guarantee swift preparation of various food items and drinks.
• Add decorative flair to your plates and elevate the dining experience for customers through the use of garnishes.
• Assist in the upkeep of cleanliness for refrigeration units, freezers, and cooking and serving appliances.
• Conforming to Food Safety Laws: Abide by all the legislation concerning food safety, which includes sanitation procedures, appropriate food handling practices, and storage guidelines.
• Abide by the prescribed uniform standards as stipulated by the policy.
• To successfully coordinate the menu, it is crucial to connect with the manager daily to comprehend and prepare the menu effectively.
• Supervising Food Temperatures: Make sure that foods are stored and served at the correct temperatures.
• Keep your work area tidy and well-organized to ensure cleanliness in the workspace.
• Maintain hygiene: Keep work areas clean and disinfected, including steam tables, countertops, and machinery.
