Role Description

The role demands strong technical depth, leadership capability, and hands-on execution skills in electrical engineering, PLC/SCADA systems, instrumentation, IoT integration, and site commissioning. The selected candidate will be responsible for complete ownership of automation and electrical systems across STP, ETP, WTP, RO, MBR, and other treatment projects. This position involves design, development, execution, troubleshooting, team leadership, and continuous improvement of automation standards across projects.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, Automation, or related field with 2-5 years of relevant industrial experience, including strong exposure to water and wastewater treatment projects. Proven expertise in control panel design, PLC programming, SCADA/HMI development, electrical load calculations, motor control systems, VFD integration, and field instrumentation (level, flow, pressure, pH, DO, ORP, FRC etc). Hands-on commissioning and advanced troubleshooting capability in industrial automation environments are essential. The candidate should demonstrate leadership ability, structured documentation practices, vendor coordination skills, and a systematic problem-solving approach, along with knowledge of IEC/IS standards and industrial safety practices. Experience in IoT-based remote monitoring and AutoCAD Electrical or equivalent design tools is preferred.
