Role Overview:

You will be joining APPHOX Technologies as a Senior Backend Engineer, working on their industry-specific ERP solutions. Your role will involve building the engine room of the ERP suite, developing core microservices, building GraphQL APIs, and ensuring the performance and security of the platform. You will be a critical member of the team responsible for creating the core microservices and APIs that will handle various functionalities of the ERP platform.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop Core Microservices: Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable backend services using Node.js, primarily with the NestJS framework.
• Build GraphQL APIs: Implement a robust and well-structured GraphQL API layer to serve the React frontend and future mobile applications.
• Database Interaction: Collaborate closely with the Database Engineer to design schemas, write efficient queries, and interact with the PostgreSQL database.
• Write High-Quality Code: Produce clean, testable, and well-documented code following SOLID principles and established design patterns.
• Ensure Performance & Security: Implement security best practices such as authentication, authorization, and data encryption, while optimizing applications for speed and scalability.
• Collaborate & Innovate: Actively participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and agile ceremonies to contribute to a culture of technical excellence.

Qualifications Required:

• 3-5+ years of professional backend development experience.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and the Node.js ecosystem.
• Hands-on experience with a modern Node.js framework like NestJS or Express.js.
• Proven experience building and consuming APIs, with preference given to GraphQL experience.
• Solid understanding of relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL, including schema design and query optimization.
• Familiarity with Git and modern collaborative development workflows.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for building high-quality software.
