We'd love to have you on board! <h1 style="text-align: justify;">What You'll Do and How You'll Have an Impact</h1> <ul style="text-align: justify;"> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Contribute across both backend and frontend to shape and enhance our application, delivering high-quality user experiences.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Design, build, and own features end-to-end—from requirement understanding through development, testing, and deployment.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Build and maintain microservices using Java, and integrate with multiple systems through GraphQL APIs.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Work with MongoDB to store, retrieve, and manage application data.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Develop high-quality, responsive user interfaces using JavaScript (preferably React.js).</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Participate in technical design discussions and contribute to solutioning for complex problems.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Work with an innovation mindset and leverage modern tools and technologies, including AI tools like Cursor, to improve productivity and efficiency.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Work in an Agile environment, adapting to evolving business and technology needs.</li> </ul> <h1 style="text-align: justify;">What We're Looking For</h1> <ul style="text-align: justify;"> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">5–8 years of relevant experience as a full stack developer.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Strong experience with React.js and CSS on the frontend, and Java on the backend.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Solid understanding of microservices architecture (Spring Boot preferred).</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Good understanding of database concepts and hands-on experience with MongoDB.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Knowledge of GraphQL APIs and building scalable integrations.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Hands-on experience with GitHub, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Proficiency with AI-assisted development tools, particularly Cursor — considered a must-have skill.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Ability to work independently and take ownership of deliverables.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">B.E. / B.S. degree (or higher) in Computer Science or a related field.</li> </ul> <h1 style="text-align: justify;">Nice to Have (Assets)</h1> <ul style="text-align: justify;"> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Exposure to lakehouse architecture (e.g., Databricks).</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Experience with TypeScript.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Familiarity with observability tools and monitoring platforms.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Prior experience working in a SaaS or subscription commerce environment.</li> </ul>   At AppDirect, we believe that innovation thrives in an environment that houses diversity of excellence, experience, and thought.
