Job Description

Role Summary The Central Operations Manager New Initiatives will be responsible for driving the end-to-end design, rollout, governance, and scale-up of key outreach programs including Onsite Corporate Health Camps and Home Sample Collection across India.

This role will own operational excellence across both channels, ensuring consistent service delivery, strong quality governance, optimized turnaround times, and superior customer experience.

The incumbent will work closely with unit teams, corporate sales, diagnostics, partners, and central functions to build scalable, reliable, and high-quality service models.

  • Program Ownership – Onsite Camps & Home Collection (End-to-End)
  • Act as the central owner for the above operations across India.
  • Define and standardize end-to-end operating models for both channels.
  • Ensure seamless execution across multiple cities and units..
  • Scale-up & Expansion Strategy

Drive expansion of:

  • Onsite corporate camp programs across clients and geographies
  • Home sample collection as a key access channel
  • Build scalable frameworks for increasing volumes, utilization, and revenue contribution.

  • SOPs, Standardization & Quality Governance

Develop and implement SOPs covering:

  • Camp execution workflows
  • Home collection processes
  • Sample handling and transport
  • Cold chain and safety protocols
  • Documentation and compliance

Conduct audits to ensure adherence and reduce variability.

  • Logistics & Execution Excellence

Onsite Camps

  • Oversee camp planning, setup, manpower deployment, and execution.
  • Ensure readiness of equipment, consumables, and site infrastructure.

Home Sample Collection

  • Ensure efficient slotting, phlebo routing, and sample pickup logistics.
  • Drive high reliability in last-mile service delivery.
  • Locum & Manpower Ecosystem Management

Build and manage a locum resource pool for:

  • Physicians
  • Phlebotomists
  • Nurses and technicians

Support units in managing staffing gaps during peak demand or large-scale camps.

Ensure competency and quality standards across all deployed resources

  • Mobile Units & Equipment Uptime (Camps)

Ensure operational readiness of mobile health check buses and camp equipment.

Monitor preventive maintenance schedules.

Troubleshoot equipment downtime in coordination with:

  • Biomedical teams
  • Vendors / OEMs
  • Build contingency plans to avoid service

  • Partner & Vendor Management

Manage third-party partners for:

  • Phlebo services
  • Logistics and transport
  • Camp execution support

Define SLAs and monitor performance on:

  • Timeliness
  • Quality
  • Customer feedback

Drive corrective actions and performance improvements.

  • Turnaround Time (TAT) Management
  • Own key TAT metrics including:
  • Booking-to-collection time
  • Camp-to-report timelines
  • Sample-to-lab processing time
  • Report delivery timelines
  • Identify bottlenecks and drive improvements.
  • Performance Dashboards & Governance
  • Build and monitor dashboards covering:
  • Volumes and utilization
  • Revenue contribution
  • TAT compliance
  • Partner performance
  • Customer experience metrics
  • Lead structured reviews with units and leadership.
  • Digital Enablement & Automation

Partner with IT/Product teams to enable:

  • Online booking and slot management
  • Phlebo tracking and routing
  • Camp planning tools
  • Automated customer communication
  • Dashboard-based governance

Drive adoption of digital tools across units.

  • Training & Capability Building
  • Develop training modules for various stakeholders
  • Drive certification and competency assessments.
  • Risk Management & Business Continuity
  • Identify risks across both programs such as:
  • Staff shortages
  • Equipment failures
  • Logistics delays
  • Build mitigation and escalation frameworks.
  • Stakeholder Management
  • Work closely with:
  • Unit leadership
  • Corporate sales teams
  • Diagnostics and lab teams
  • Nursing and operations teams
  • Influence and drive execution across a matrix organization.
