This is a fully in‑office position in Sylvan Lake.

The Opportunity

The firm is seeking an Accounting Manager or Senior Manager with at least five years’ experience in public practice. This is a hands‑on role with meaningful client interaction, file review responsibility, and staff mentorship.

The firm’s work is focused on:

• Compilation engagements
• Corporate tax for small and owner‑managed businesses
• Personal tax returns

About the Firm

• 9 total staff, including 2 Partners

Role Breakdown

• 30% – Working with new clients and onboarding engagements
• 40% – Reviewing files and meeting directly with clients
• 30% – Mentoring staff and hands‑on file preparation, including tax work

What They’re Looking For

• CPA designation
• 5+ years’ experience in public practice (10+ years is ideal)
• Desire and aptitude to become a partner in the short to medium term
• Interest in compilations, small business tax, and personal tax
• Strong communication skills and comfort working directly with clients
• A desire to build a long‑term career in public accounting
• Enjoys mentoring and working collaboratively in an office setting
• Note: candidates with fewer years of experience but with the right aptitude and attitude will also be considered.
