Deputy Manager Manufaturing Excellence

Role & responsibilities driving the continuous improvement culture within the manufacturing plant. This role involves leading Kaizen initiatives, conducting value stream mapping, eliminating waste, and training shop floor employees on lean tools to improve operational efficiency, inventory turns, and product flow

Preferred candidate profile

Lean Strategy Deployment: Develop and execute lean strategies to improve operational efficiency in line with business objectives.

Process Improvement & Waste Elimination: Conduct value stream mapping to identify and eliminate waste, reduce inventory levels, and minimize non-value-added activities.

Shop Floor Training & Culture: Promote a culture of continuous improvement by training and mentoring employees on lean tools such as 5S, Kaizen, Visual Management, Kanban, Standard Work and Poka-Yoke.

Kaizen Event Management: Plan and facilitate Kaizen workshops, action work-outs, and 3P (Production Preparation Process) events to drive incremental improvements.

KPI Management: Establish and monitor KPIs related to manufacturing efficiency improvement and report results to senior management.

Standardization & Audit: Implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) based on lean practices and conduct regular 5S and process audits to ensure sustainability.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with Production, Maintenance, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to ensure process alignment and smooth workflow.
