About The Role
As a Lead Production Engineer, you’ll play a key role in building, scaling, and improving the manufacturing of AON3D’s industrial 3D printers. You’ll be responsible for developing, documenting, and optimizing assembly processes, ensuring consistent product quality and reliability, and collaborating with Design, Supply Chain, and Quality teams to support production ramp-up and continuous improvement.
This is a hands-on, cross-functional role at the heart of operations; ideal for someone who enjoys solving practical problems, refining manufacturing systems, and driving efficiency.
What You Will Do
- Develop, document, and improve assembly and production processes.
- Support daily production activities and troubleshoot technical issues on the line.
- Own assembly, alignment, and calibration processes for linear motion systems (rails, bearings, belts, ball screws, motors, encoders).
- Troubleshoot motion-related issues such as accuracy, repeatability, vibration, wear, and transport-induced misalignment.
