About Us
Andrews Farm Market and Winery is a 165-acre family farm offering pick-your-own fruit, a farm market, bakery, winery, and seasonal events. As we continue to grow, we are expanding our food service offerings to enhance the guest experience.
We are looking for a Food Service Lead with strong culinary knowledge and hands-on experience to help develop and manage our food program.
Position Overview
The Food Service Lead will be responsible for overseeing daily food operations, supporting menu development, maintaining food quality standards, and leading a small team during peak season.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys a fast-paced, outdoor, customer-focused environment and wants to be part of a growing farm business.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support daily food service operations (BBQ, bakery and winery support)
- Assist in menu development and expansion (pizza, sandwiches, wraps, tacos, etc.)
- Ensure food quality, consistency, and presentation standards
- Supervise and train staff during service
- Maintain food safety and sanitation standards (Health & Safety compliance)
- Manage inventory, prep planning, and waste control
- Optimize workflow for high-volume weekends & events
- Support seasonal high-volume service (weekends & corporate events & private parties)
Experience & Qualifications
- Proven experience in the fast-paced/high volume food industry is highly desirable.
- Background in culinary arts, quick-service food concepts, or hospitality (formal training preferred)
- Experience with Pizza / hot food preparation
- Sandwiches / wraps / tacos
- Coffee / espresso-based drinks
- Ice cream or dessert service
- Wine service (Smart Serve required or willingness to obtain)
- Knowledge of food safety regulations
- Strong leadership and team-building and management skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume environment
- Comfortable working in a seasonal, outdoor farm environment
- Flexible availability, including weekends and holidaysWhat
