Job Description
Andersen is hiring a Frontend Developer (Angular) in India for a project integrating insurance products into a client platform, enabling seamless policy flows, data exchange, and system connectivity.
The customer is a large international organization operating in the insurance and risk protection domain, providing a wide range of services for both individual and corporate clients. The customer has a strong global presence, delivers diversified insurance solutions across multiple lines of business, and is known for its mature operational model, financial stability, and well-established expertise in service delivery and claims management.
The project is focused on integrating insurance products and policy flows into a new client’s application. The team will implement the insurance ordering and integration layer, enabling seamless policy purchases, data exchange, and system connectivity within the client's platform.
Responsibilities
- Developing and maintaining scalable frontend applications.
- Implementing component-based architecture and reusable UI components.
- Building responsive, cross-browser compatible user interfaces.
- Participating in architecture discussions and improving frontend structure and performance.
- Writing clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices.
- Conducting code reviews and contributing to team quality standards.
- Integrating frontend applications with APIs and backend services.
- Participating in Agile ceremonies and contributing to sprint planning and delivery.
- Supporting CI/CD processes and ensuring smooth deployment of frontend applications.
Must-haves:
- Experience in frontend development with Angular for 5+ years, building large-scale applications in complex environments.
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript and JavaScript (ES6+).
- Solid knowledge of HTML5, CSS3 (SCSS/LESS) and modern frontend standards.
- Hands-on experience with Angular (v12+), including component-based architecture and dependency injection.
- Strong understanding of RxJS and reactive programming principles.
- Experience with state management libraries such as NgRx, Akita, or NGXS.
- Experience implementing scalable frontend architectures (smart/dumb components, modular design).
- Familiarity with UI frameworks such as Angular Material, PrimeNG, Bootstrap, or Tailwind CSS.
- Experience building responsive, cross-browser compatible interfaces.
- Experience working in Agile environments, including SDLC processes.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and tools like Jira.
- Level of English – Intermediate+ and above.
