Role Description

AnchorStone is looking for sales-focused Insurance Brokers/Producers who want to generate and help close new commercial and/or personal lines insurance opportunities without being required to manage the accounts afterward. No base salary - high commission.

This is a sales-only producer opportunity. The focus is on prospecting, networking, introductions, relationship-building, and helping convert new clients. AnchorStone handles the quoting process, market submissions, proposal preparation, renewals, certificates, endorsements, invoicing, claims coordination, and day-to-day account service.

This may be a good fit for licensed brokers who enjoy sales but do not want to be buried in account management, former brokers who left the industry because of servicing/admin work, or sales-focused professionals with strong relationships in real estate, construction, property management, strata, hospitality, trades, professional services, or local business communities.

This opportunity may be suitable for someone seeking flexible, part-time, or supplemental income through new business production.

Compensation

• This is a commission-based producer opportunity with strong earning potential for the right person.
• Compensation is based on closed and paid new business
• Final compensation details will be discussed directly with qualified candidates.

Responsibilities

• Identify and introduce new personal lines and/or commercial insurance prospects
• Build and maintain referral relationships
• Help gather basic underwriting information
• Participate in sales conversations where appropriate
• Help close new business opportunities
• Maintain professional communication with prospects and referral sources

Qualifications

• Active BC Level 2 General Insurance Licence required
• Insurance brokerage, producer, or sales experience preferred
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Self-motivated and comfortable with commission-based compensation
• Able to work independently and manage prospect/client conversations professionally
• Ability to identify insurance opportunities through personal, professional, or business networks
• Experience in commercial lines, personal lines, real estate, construction, property management, hospitality, strata, professional services, or business development is an asset
