Role Overview:

As a Team Leader in Business Intelligence & Automation, your primary focus will be to transform fragmented operational data into structured intelligence, reduce manual dependencies, and establish a scalable data-driven ecosystem to enhance efficiency, profitability, and strategic clarity. This role emphasizes analytics architecture and automation logic over technical system configuration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and standardize data structures to ensure consistency and accuracy.
  • Establish single-source-of-truth definitions to enhance data integrity.
  • Develop validation and quality control frameworks for data accuracy.
  • Create analytical frameworks for performance monitoring.
  • Build revenue and cost optimization models for business improvement.
  • Translate data into actionable insights for strategic decision-making.
  • Identify repetitive processes suitable for automation and design workflow automation logic.
  • Collaborate with IT teams for the implementation of automation solutions.
  • Lead the development of dynamic dashboards for real-time data visualization.
  • Transition static Management Information Systems (MIS) to interactive analytics platforms.
  • Drive adoption of data-driven practices across departments.
  • Map end-to-end data flow to optimize processes and data utilization.
  • Align business and IT teams to ensure data synergy.
  • Improve visibility into performance metrics.
  • Mentor analysts to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Cultivate a data-driven decision-making culture within the organization.
  • Foster accountability for ownership of metrics and performance targets.

Qualifications Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Statistics, or Computer Science is preferred.
  • Postgraduate degree in MBA (Operations, Business Analytics, or Systems) is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in Advanced Excel is mandatory.
  • Familiarity with Business Intelligence tools such as Power BI, Tableau, etc.
  • Basic understanding of SQL and databases is preferred.
  • Experience with automation tools like Power Automate, RPA, App Script, etc.
  • Knowledge of MIS design and reporting frameworks.
  • Familiarity with data validation and cleansing techniques.
  • Demonstrated leadership and mentoring capabilities.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to convey data insights effectively.
  • Capacity to simplify complex concepts for various stakeholders.
  • Mindset for process improvement and optimization.
