Job Description–Sales Engineer (Noida–Solar Project)
What the company expects from the candidate for this role:
Ample Solar Private Limited is looking for a dynamic and result oriented Sales Engineer to support the business expansion of the Noida branch.The role involves lead generation, driving sales for residential, commercial through client acquisition, site visits, technical commercial coordination, dealer development, and support in solar project execution solution based selling, and work with close coordination with internal technical teams.
Responsibilities
- Drive sales and business development for solar EPC projects (Residential/Commercial/across Noida and nearby markets.
- Identify, generate, and convert leads from residential, factories, institutions, and commercial establishments.
- Conduct client meetings and site visits to understand energy requirements and propose customized solar solutions.
- Prepare and present technical and commercial proposals in coordination with engineering and design teams.
- Negotiate pricing and commercial terms and ensure timely closure of deals.
- Coordinate with project execution, procurement, and operations teams to ensure smooth project handover and customer satisfaction.
- Achieve assigned sales targets and contribute to overall revenue growth.
Additional Job Responsibility–Vendor & Regulatory Support (Initial 3–4 Weeks):
- During the initial 3–4 weeks of joining, the candidate will also be required to actively support Vendor & Regulatory Coordination to ensure smooth project onboarding and execution.
- Coordinate vendor registration and empanelment processes with relevant agencies and stakeholders
- Assist in preparing and managing documentation required for UPNEDA, DISCOM, and other regulatory approvals
- Follow up on submission status, compliance requirements, and approval timelines
Educational Qualification and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering in the field of Electrical, Mechanical, Energy Systems, or a related technical field.
- Candidate must possess a relevant experience in the field of renewable sector especially in the solar sector.
- 2+ years of experience in Solar EPC/Rooftop Solar/Renewable Energy Sales.
Candidate Requirements:
- Experience in the solar or renewable energy sector will be considered as the primary criteria in selecting candidate.
- Self-driven, target oriented, and capable of managing sales activities independently.
- Willingness to travel for client meetings and site assessments.
- Experience in dealer development and B2B sales preferred.
- Familiarity with UPNEDA, DISCOM, and vendor registration processes is an advantage.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and coordination skills
