Job Summary
Amorepacific Canada is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Team Assistant to support the Supply Chain Innovation (SCI) team on a full-time, 6-month contract. This role plays a key part in enabling the day-to-day operations of the SCI function by providing administrative and operational support across inbound logistics, order management, reporting, and system maintenance. The incumbent will assist in tracking inbound shipments, supporting retail order processing, maintaining accurate system data, and preparing inventory-related reports to ensure smooth and efficient supply chain execution. Reporting to the Assistant Planning Manager, this position is well-suited for an individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment, demonstrates strong attention to detail, and is eager to build foundational experience within supply chain operations.
Principal Accountabilities
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Inbound Supply & Order Management - Manage inbound supply orders, including Purchase Order (PO) and Commercial Invoice (CI) processing. Monitor and track inbound shipment status, ensuring timely coordination with QA for inspection and release.
- Inventory & Performance Reporting - Prepare and analyze regular reports, including slow-moving inventory and overall inventory summaries, to support Monthly Market Meetings (MMM) and business decision-making.
- Order Processing & Release - Oversee retail order processing, including EDI 850 order uploads and timely order release to ensure accurate and efficient fulfillment.
- System Setup & Master Data Management - Maintain and update system master data, including SKU creation, pricing, and vendor setup, ensuring data accuracy and alignment with business requirements.
- Sales & Inventory System Update - Manage EDI 852 uploads and updates for key retail partners (e.g., Sephora, Holt Renfrew, Amazon), ensuring accurate sales and inventory visibility across systems.
Key Experience and Skills
- 1–2 years of experience in an administrative, operations, or support role; exposure to supply chain or retail operations is an asset
- Post-secondary education in Business, Supply Chain, or a related discipline preferred
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with SAP or similar ERP systems is an asset
- High level of attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Proactive, reliable, and team-oriented mindset
