Responsibilities
1. Conduct research or development activities following prescribed protocols or procedures.
2. Document procedures followed and notes results, discrepancies or deviations.
3. Compile and evaluate results for scientific/project staff to review or interpret.
4. Operate a variety of scientific equipment to conduct project activities.
5. Collaborate with scientists or project leaders concerning project activities, observations, and safety procedures.
6. Assist with intellectual property evaluations and development of patent applications.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, Medical Technology or related discipline required or combination of work experience and education.
Experience: One year of related experience in a research laboratory required.
Skills & Abilities: Ability to work on a team. Complete understanding and wide application of principles, theories and concepts and general knowledge of other related disciplines.
Travel: Some travel may be required.

Pay Information:
- The annual salary for this position is $70,000.00- $75,000.00
This job will be posted for a minimum of five business days and extended if the applicant pool needs to be expanded.

Physical Requirements
Depending on work assignment, may require ordinary ambulatory skills sufficient to visit other locations; or the ability to stand, walk and manipulate (lift, carry, move) light to medium weights of up to 20 pounds. Requires good hand-eye coordination, arm, hand and finger dexterity, including ability to grasp, and visual acuity to use a keyboard, operate equipment and read technical information. Overall mobility is essential.
