Position: Retail Vendor Manager II AMZ21074.3 (multiple positions available)

Location: Seattle, Washington

Multiple Positions Available:

1. Act as the business owner for vendors and owned categories, resulting in a complete understanding of internal and external variables that impact the business.

2. Own reporting on respective categories and vendors.

3. Set strategies and identify efficiencies to achieve both top line and bottom line business goals.

4. Proactively negotiating costs, promotional opportunities, and other business inputs for the business.

5. Conduct pricing, ROI, and P&L analysis to make recommendations for initiatives that optimize profit margin. Managing Purchase Orders and In-Stock analysis for the vendors.

6. Optimize the online presence and content of each product in the brand's portfolio.

7. Develop and execute marketing plans to drive brand awareness.

8. Drive cross-category initiatives to improve the operational processes and deliver results.

9. Domestic travel up to 20% to perform role responsibilities may be required

(40 hours / week, 8:00am-5:00pm, Salary Range $107,451/year to $128,300/year)

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Master's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field and 3 years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation. In the alternative, employer will accept a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field followed by 5 years of progressively responsible post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or a related occupation.

Experience must include:

1) 3 years of experience managing large data sets and utilizing to drive performance and process improvements

2) 3 years of experience in vendor negotiations, pricing and promotion, inventory management, and product development

3) 3 years of experience with data mining using SQL, Excel, ETL or related Business Intelligence Tools to analyze large, complex data sets

The pay range for this position in Seattle, WA is $107,451/year to $128,300/year); however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience A sign-on bonus and restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
