We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to handle heavy lifting and manual tasks.

Duties

• Safely operate delivery vehicles, including vans and trucks, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
• Load and unload products using equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety and functionality.
• Manage delivery schedules efficiently, ensuring all packages are delivered on time.
• Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients during deliveries.
• Handle heavy lifting of packages as required, ensuring proper lifting techniques are used to prevent injury.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including any issues encountered during transport.
• Navigate routes effectively using GPS or maps, including the ability to operate vehicles with manual transmission when necessary.

Experience

• Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar courier role is preferred.
• Familiarity with operating forklifts and other loading equipment is a plus.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with clients.
• Experience in moving and handling heavy items safely is essential.
• A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is required.
