Duties

• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support
• Monitor patients’ health by taking vital signs, observing changes in condition, and reporting findings to healthcare professionals
• Support medication administration following HIPAA guidelines to ensure privacy and safety
• Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with meal consumption when necessary
• Operate assistive devices such as Hoyer lifts and manage heavy lifting tasks safely to prevent injury
• Maintain a clean and safe environment through regular cleaning duties and adherence to infection control protocols
• Follow care plans meticulously while providing compassionate emotional support to residents with dementia, Alzheimer's, or developmental disabilities

Experience

• Prior experience working in assisted living, nursing homes, or home & community care settings preferred
• Hands-on experience with patient observation, monitoring vital signs, and implementing care plans
• Knowledge of Alzheimer’s care, memory care techniques, and dementia-specific strategies
• Familiarity with working with individuals with autism or disabilities in a supportive environment
• Certification in CPR and First Aid required; additional certifications such as HIPAA compliance or hospice care are advantageous
• Experience operating medical equipment like Hoyer lifts or managing medication administration is highly valued
• Demonstrated ability to handle physically demanding tasks including heavy lifting while maintaining safety standards

Pay: $33.66 - $48.49 per hour
