Job Description

Champion the academic and personal development of junior high students as a skilled school counselor. Work collaboratively to create impactful guidance programs that nurture every student's potential. Your role as a counselor involves advocating for students' emotional and academic needs while fostering a positive atmosphere. This position requires a Master's degree in Counseling, a valid counseling certificate, and three years of credible teaching experience. You will also utilize child behavior management skills to help students navigate their emotional landscape. Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide counseling on personal, social, and academic issues
  • Design and implement comprehensive counseling programs
  • Build strong relationships with students, staff, and parents
  • Promote emotional regulation and positive behavior management
  • Continuously evaluate and improve counseling effectiveness Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Counseling is mandatory
  • Texas school counseling certificate required
  • Minimum of three years teaching experience
  • Expertise in social/emotional learning strategies
