How will you contribute?

Role Overview

The Senior Associate – Backend Engineering plays a key role in building and supporting production-grade backend systems that power enterprise AI, Machine Learning, and Generative AI solutions. This role focuses on developing reliable, scalable, and secure backend services while collaborating closely with architects and senior engineers to deliver high-quality AI-enabled platforms.

You will contribute to backend engineering excellence by implementing robust services, supporting AI orchestration workflows, and ensuring systems are well-tested, observable, and production-ready.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs using Python or similar technologies
• Contribute to implementation of microservices and backend components aligned with defined architecture
• Support AI orchestration workflows, including integration with LLM APIs and AI frameworks
• Develop and maintain APIs (REST/gRPC) with proper versioning, security, and performance considerations
• Integrate backend systems with enterprise platforms and external AI/data services
• Implement basic resiliency, error handling, and logging mechanisms for reliable operations
• Support monitoring, debugging, and resolution of production issues
• Contribute to cloud deployment, CI/CD pipelines, and performance optimization efforts
• Follow secure coding practices and ensure adherence to enterprise security standards
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and actively participate in Agile delivery processes

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of backend engineering experience
• Proficiency in Python, Java, or C#/.NET with hands-on framework experience
• Strong fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design
• Understanding of microservices and distributed systems concepts
• Familiarity with REST/gRPC and API design principles
• Exposure to AI/ML or LLM-based applications is a plus
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP)
• Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases
• Working knowledge of Git, Docker (Kubernetes is a plus)
• Good problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills
