Altruix is seeking a Logistics Operations Coordinator to support pharmacy logistics operations at our Trevose, PA location. This role oversees delivery coordination, route management, and fleet performance to ensure the timely and accurate transportation of medications. The Logistics Operations Coordinator serves as a key point of contact between pharmacy teams, drivers, and internal stakeholders, helping drive operational efficiency, safety, and service excellence in a fast-paced environment.
This position reports directly to the Logistics Operations Manager and provides oversight to Fleet Drivers.
Compensation for this role ranges from $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
Main Responsibilities
- Allocate and coordinate fleet resources with guidance from the Logistics Manager
- Monitor route and driver status to ensure timely departures and deliveries
- Ensure appropriate response and resource allocation for urgent or high-priority deliveries
- Evaluate and implement route adjustments to optimize efficiency and resource utilization
- Document, communicate, and escalate delivery issues or delays as needed
- Serve as the primary point of contact for Fleet Drivers regarding routes, scheduling, and delivery issues
- Respond to internal and external inquiries via phone and email in a timely manner
- Identify, investigate, and resolve delivery or routing issues; recommend process improvements
- Create and maintain tracking tools and reports (Excel, databases) to monitor delivery performance and fleet utilization
- Support fleet vehicle maintenance coordination, including scheduling and recordkeeping
- Assist with hiring, training, and performance management of Fleet Drivers
- Reinforce safety standards and promote a culture of continuous improvement
- Perform driver duties as needed to support operations
- Assist in achieving team performance metrics and operational goals
- Perform other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate degree or relevant certification preferred
- 2+ years of experience in logistics, dispatching, or fleet coordination
- Prior supervisory or leadership experience
- Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Teams)
- Valid drivers license with a clean driving record
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a healthcare or pharmacy logistics environment
- Familiarity with route optimization software and fleet management systems
- Experience with reporting, tracking metrics, or operational analytics

Schedule
This is a full-time, onsite position based out of our Trevose, PA location. Workdays and hours may vary based on operational needs and delivery schedules. The role may require early mornings, evenings, or occasional weekend support as needed.
