Job Description
Job Title: Technical Content Publisher
Location: Montreal, Canada (Hybrid- 3 days)
Contract Type: Contract Job
Summary: We're looking for a Technical Content Publisher to manage and publish web content for Client using CMS platforms. This is not a developer/engineer role and not a data entry role. The ideal candidate sits in between — someone who can publish content independently and debug front-end issues when needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Publish, update, and manage web content through CMS workflows
- Troubleshoot layout and template issues using HTML/CSS/JS
- Execute manual content promotions and ensure accuracy across environments
- Perform QA on published content for consistency, responsiveness, and accessibility
- Coordinate with design, content, and development teams to resolve publishing issues
- Follow content governance, brand, and compliance guidelines
- Document publishing processes and known issues for the team
Required Skills
- 3+ years of experience in web content publishing or technical content operations
- Strong HTML/CSS/JS skills to troubleshoot layouts and templates independently
- Hands-on experience with enterprise CMS workflows and manual promotions
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to debug front-end issues without dev support
- Good communication skills to work with cross-functional teams
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with TeamSite CMS
- Experience with AEM, Sitecore, or similar enterprise CMS platforms
- Basic understanding of web accessibility standards (WCAG)
- Familiarity with JIRA, Confluence, or other agile tools
