(Full Time - Set Shift Saturday and/or Sunday)
The Personal Trainers and LF3 coaches are fitness and health enthusiasts who are inspired to share their technical knowledge with their clients in an effective, safe, and progressive style. They have a deep understanding of anatomy, physiology, and psychology. They have communication superpowers as they quickly create rapport and prescribe appropriate and effective health and training program solutions to help our members achieve their fitness goals.
They are well versed in the various needs of clients from weight loss, strength and conditioning, injury rehabilitation and overall health and wellness. They maintain a welcoming presence within the club by being friendly and approachable with all members and guests. While with clients, they remain focused, ensure proper posture and technique and are enthusiastic. LF3 is taking a stand against nonsensical programming and group training that is NOT results driven. LF3 is the first successful training system to be effectively implemented into a large club setting.
These exuberant fitness professionals have technical training in the fitness and health industry and are zealous about promoting health and wellness within the community. They are organized, attentive to detail and motivational. They take pride in identifying their clients’ goals and establishing progressive and personalized programs to help clients achieve their goals.

As a Personal Trainer/Small Group Personal Training, a typical day might include the following:
- Confirming tomorrow’s sessions with clients (email, phone, text etc.)
- Preparing and designing a program for a new client
- Completing a demonstration session with a prospective client
- Meeting with a client to complete renewal documentation
- Meeting with client to review food journal, sleep habits, progress of fitness (measurements etc.)
- Conducting personal training sessions, ensuring proper technique, counting reps, journaling all relevant data
- Updating and maintaining accurate records in customer relations management software
- Be an ambassador of the LF3 Training System, including LF3 LIVE & Go
- Participate in other coaches classes at least 1x weekly
- Have a hybrid schedule of both 1/1 training & small group classes
- Promote the importance of results & frequency. Encourage members to combine 1/1 with LF3 Small group for optimal results.
- Work in collaboration with other LF3 coaches and DCM to improve and customize the Diamond member experience.
- Keep members informed about upcoming events and challenges
- Ensure all participants are checked-in or appropriately marked
- Prior to each class, the coach has familiarized themselves with the program to ensure a 10/10 experience.
- Each class the coach welcomes members from outside the studio, checking them in as they arrive
- Urgently provide as much 1/1 and group coaching as you can during class
- Ask for feedback from the participants. Meet new members and ensure they receive a 5-star welcome and explanation of the class.
- Interact with participants in class and celebrate all accomplishments, big or small.
- Promote a warm and welcome environment. All levels and abilities are equally encouraged.
To land this role you need to have:
- Post-secondary education relating to the health and fitness industry is considered an asset
- Recognized Personal Training Certification
- Additional certification relating to fitness, health, and nutrition
- 1+ years of experience in a personal training role is advantageous
- Experience working as a personal trainer and/or teaching small group fitness classes is mandatory.
- CPR/First Aid certification (required to have a minimum of Emergency First Aid and CPR certification) required prior to start date and must be maintained throughout employment. CPR is to be renewed annually.
- All team members must provide a recent Criminal Background Check prior to commencement of training and/or work.
