Business Development Manager – Retail Sales responsible for driving channel sales and expanding ALSTONE's market presence in the assigned territory. The role involves managing existing dealers, developing new channel partners and generating business through architects, builders, contractors, fabricators and façade consultants.
Primary Responsibilities
- Manage and grow the existing dealer and channel partner network.
- Identify and appoint new dealers and channel partners in the assigned territory.
- Generate business opportunities through architects, builders, contractors, fabricators and consultants.
- Conduct site visits and convert project opportunities into sales.
- Promote ALSTONE products including ACP Sheets, HPL Sheets, Louvers, Honeycomb Panels, Zinc Composite Panels and Glass products.
- Perform market research and identify new business opportunities.
- Generate leads and follow up with prospective customers.
- Negotiate commercial terms and coordinate with existing clients.
- Monitor competitor activities and market trends.
- Ensure achievement of assigned sales targets and business objectives.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in Channel Sales, Retail Sales or Business Development.
- Experience in ACP, Glass, Plywood, Tiles, Paint, Sanitaryware, Doors, Windows or Building Materials Industry preferred.
- Strong understanding of the local Surat market and surrounding regions.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship management skills.
- Graduation preferred.
- Candidate should be based in Surat or nearby areas.
