Are you ready to power up your career? AWSE is thrilled to offer an outstanding opportunity for a passionate and driven individual to join our team as an Electrician Apprentice (Level 2, 3, or 4). As a part of our fast-growing powerhouse, you will learn from industry experts and gain hands-on experience that will propel your electrical prowess to new heights.

Responsibilities

Assist with electrical installations in concrete and steel-frame high-rise buildings
Rough-in suites and install panels, lighting, conduit, and distribution systems
Slab and rough-in experience is preferred
Read blueprints and follow electrical drawings
Bend/install EMT and PVC conduit (including parkade environments)
Support fire alarm wiring, terminations, and verification
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized job site
Experience installing Mircom and Siemens fire alarm systems are a benefit

Requirements

Registered with Skilled Trades BC (Level 2, 3, or 4 apprentice -1,850 hours)
Experience with or interest in high-rise construction
Able to interpret blueprints and use standard tools
Physically able to perform construction tasks
Reliable transportation to job sites
