Freight & Logistics Operations Manager – 3PL Startup

Job Title: Freight & Logistics Operations Manager – 3PL Startup Location: Bangalore, Karnataka Job Type: Full-Time Experience Required: 6–10 Years --- About Us Alpha Omega Lines is a new third-party logistics (3PL) company launching in Bangalore. We are in our setup phase and looking for our first and most critical hire — someone who will build our freight operations from the ground up. Our management team brings strong business and legal expertise.

We need someone who brings the freight knowledge. This is not a routine job. You will have real ownership, real responsibility, and real growth as the company grows. --- What You Will Do - Set up and manage relationships with shipping lines, airlines, truckers, and CFS operators in Bangalore - Handle end-to-end operations for FCL and LCL shipments — exports and imports - Manage all freight documentation including Bill of Lading, Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Certificate of Origin, and Customs filings - Prepare and negotiate freight rate quotes for clients - Coordinate with customs brokers and ensure regulatory compliance - Build internal SOPs and documentation templates from scratch - Support business development by identifying and approaching potential clients - Be the single point of contact for all operational matters in the company --- What We Are Looking For - 6 to 10 years of experience specifically in freight forwarding or 3PL operations - Strong working knowledge of FCL, LCL, air freight, imports and exports - Familiar with IEC code, customs clearance procedures, and freight documentation - Experience handling both origin and destination operations - Existing contacts with carriers, CFS operators, or freight vendors in Bangalore is a strong advantage - Proficiency in MS Excel and any freight or logistics management software - Strong communication skills in English - Someone who is self-driven and comfortable working in an early-stage startup without a large team around them --- What We Offer - Opportunity to be the founding operations hire at a growing logistics startup - Direct reporting to and collaboration with the founding management team - Performance-based incentives tied to business growth - Competitive salary based on experience and discussion - A genuine opportunity to grow into a senior leadership role as the company scales --- How to Apply Send your updated resume to: ggdsku3@gmail.com Please mention in your application: your total years in freight forwarding, the types of shipments you have handled, and why you want to join a startup. --- Important Note to Applicants: We are a startup.
