Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of hair services including cutting, coloring, styling, hair extensions, and hair threading with precision and artistry
• Provide expert consultations on color theory, hair care routines, and personalized styling recommendations
• Utilize salon software such as MINDBODY to schedule appointments, manage client records, and process transactions efficiently
• Deliver exceptional customer service by listening attentively, addressing client needs, and upselling retail products like hair care and nail care items
• Maintain strict sanitation standards by properly sterilizing tools like straight razors and ensuring a clean workspace at all times
• Manage front desk duties including greeting clients, booking appointments, and handling retail sales with enthusiasm
• Mentor junior team members by sharing techniques in eyelash extensions, makeup application, and nail care to foster skill development and team cohesion

Requirements

• Valid cosmetology or barbering license with experience in hair styling and hair extensions
• Proficiency in salon software systems such as MINDBODY for appointment scheduling and client management
• Strong knowledge of color theory, sanitation practices, and professional tools including straight razors
• Experience with retail sales, upselling techniques, and retail math to maximize revenue opportunities
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse clients and team members
• Skills in eyelash extensions, makeup application, nail care, and hair threading are highly desirable
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and high standards of sanitation
