Role Designation: Remote Job Description The Communications Specialist plays a key supporting role in the development and delivery of clear, effective internal communication solutions that drive employee engagement and support business objectives. Reporting to the Manager, Employee Communications, you will work closely with team members to execute communication strategies, develop compelling, high-quality content, and coordinate communication activities across a range of internal stakeholders. Accountabilities: Support and execute internal communication plans aligned with business priorities and initiatives Draft, edit, and publish clear, engaging internal communications (e.g., emails, intranet content, presentations, FAQs) Coordinate timelines, deliverables, and approvals to ensure smooth execution of communication initiatives Lead low-complexity communication projects while contributing to larger, cross-functional initiatives Partner with stakeholders to understand communication needs and deliver targeted, effective messaging Manage and maintain content across communication channels (e.g., intranet, SharePoint, newsletters), ensuring consistency in tone, branding, and accessibility Analyze communication metrics and feedback to identify opportunities for improvement and enhance engagement Contribute to continuous improvement by sharing ideas, leveraging best practices, and optimizing communication approaches Qualifications: Demonstrated experience in Communications or a related field Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail Experience creating content for multiple channels and formats Strong organizational and project coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities Experience working in fast-paced, collaborative environments Understanding of communications metrics and reporting is an asset Familiarity with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel), SharePoint, and internal communication tools Allstate Canada Group has policies and practices that provide workplace accommodations.
