PCA Personal Care Assistant/Caregiver

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Personal Care Assistant to provide compassionate care and support to individuals in need. The ideal candidate will have experience in various healthcare settings and possess a strong passion for helping others.

Duties

• Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, and dressing
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
• Help with meal preparation and medication reminders
• Accompany clients to appointments and outings
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients
• Monitor and report any changes in clients' health or behavior

Requirements

• Experience in emergency medicine, inpatient care, PICU, hospital medicine, or other healthcare settings
• Familiarity with working in a Level I Trauma Center, clinic, OR, medical-surgical unit, outpatient facility, or geriatric care
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy and professionalism
• Certification or training as a Personal Care Assistant is a plus

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00 per hour
