Job Title: Entry Level Design Engineer

Job Overview

We are seeking a design engineer who is driven and looking for technical growth and advancement in a dynamic workplace. The successful candidate will work on various projects and will be part of a multi-disciplined design team that includes civil engineers, planners, landscape architects, and CADD designers, all under the supervision of an experienced professional engineer. The successful candidate will work closely with a project engineer assisting/mentoring you in the performance of tasks associated with the preparation of various engineering plan submissions, such as roadway design, erosion control, and stormwater management design, site grading and layout design, storm drainage, water & sewer design, as well as site planning.

Individual tasks might include drainage area map preparation, channel or pipe flow computations, runoff computations, storm computation routing, vertical curve design, sight distance analysis, earthwork analysis, or cost estimating.

Required Skills & Experience:

• BSCE or MSCE degree
• Working knowledge of Civil 3D
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D, MS Office Suite (MS Project, MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• A personal commitment to excellence

#civil A reasonable estimate of the Base Salary for this role is $50,000 - $65,000 per year. The disclosed pay range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. The compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case, such as skills and experience levels.
