Team Overview
In this position, you will report to the VP of Communications & PR and are responsible for managing project coordination, organization, tracking, reporting and prioritization of projects for our Internal Communications, CEO office, and all Media/PR comms. You'll work with various stakeholders from each function, facilitating cross-team collaboration on projects, and ensuring projects are staying on track to be delivered on deadline.
Key Responsibilities
- Build a project capture, tracking, and reporting platform for all areas of this communications stream.
- Work with the various disciplines within communications to help manage the planning and execution of comms strategies and various initiatives and deliverables.
- Assist in scheduling and managing key touchpoints on various comms efforts within the team and across marketing and creative partnerships.
- Support leads in managing major communication efforts, i.e. SCOTUS, major case filings, events, etc.
- Perform intake duties for all new project requests, maintain work process flows, and work to optimize procedures to ensure projects are managed and completed efficiently.
- Generate and maintain a weekly report on the status of current projects and outlining any roadblocks or potential issues and map capacity against the workload.
- Participate in weekly meetings to give real-time updates and discuss ongoing and upcoming projects.
- Maintain a calendar of project timelines and team capacity to help the team remain connected. This includes providing visibility into project work in real time and provide an overview during weekly team meetings.
Minimum Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in project management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability foster and maintain relationships.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously within a high-intensity environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Assertive with timelines and deadlines, while exercising diplomacy and tenacity in a professional setting.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications field
- Data reporting and analysis experience
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certificate
