Search Developer - Azure Cloud/Azure AI Search - hybrid - Contractor in USD

For an international project in Chennai, we are urgently looking for a Search Developer specializing in Search technologies who will work closely with the Product Owner and Technical lead to revamp its search platform. Must have hands-on experience in Azure Cloud, Azure AI Search, Python.

We are looking for a motivated contractor. Candidates need to be fluent in English.

Tasks and responsibilities:

• Development and enhancement work in the Search platform;
• Perform Unit testing;
• Perform Deployment and document the deployment steps;
• Technical Documentation;
• Coordination between different stakeholders;
• UAT Support;
• Production Support;
• Perform Root cause analysis and provide permanent solution;

Profile:

• Bachelor or Master degree;
• 5+ years of relevant experience;
• Must have hands-on experience in Azure Cloud, Azure AI Search, Python;
• Proficient in RDBMS and NoSQL DB like PostGreSQL, Oracle, MongoDB;
• Good foundational knowledge of Search Technologies and Gen AI;
• Preferable working experience in Java;
• Critical thinking, Good Analytical Skills;
• Fluent in English;
