Compensation: $123,300 - $169,500 / year
DescriptionWe’re seeking a Sr. Integration Developer to join the Treatment Planning team and drive innovation in release and documentation workflows for regulated medical software. You’ll design and implement advanced CI/CD pipelines, migrate processes to modern platforms, and develop custom automation solutions. This role involves both coding to enhance build systems and integrating off-the-shelf solutions, including AI/LLM tools, to create smarter documentation and release workflows. You’ll collaborate with the Release Manager, business analysts, and development teams to deliver efficient, compliant, and scalable release operations. Your work will directly influence the future of release automation and documentation in a highly regulated environment
Role expectations
Design and implement automation solutions to streamline release and documentation workflows, using languages such as Python or similar.
Modernize and optimize CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Bitbucket → GitHub Actions), including build processes for AsciiDoc, analysis tools, and automated test suites.
Develop and optimize integrations with LLM-based tools to assist in documentation review and editing.
Collaborate with Release Manager, business analysts, and development teams to ensure compliance and efficiency in regulated software releases.
Monitor and refine reporting mechanisms for build status, documentation quality, and release readiness.
What we're looking for
Education: BSc. or higher in computer science.
Experience: 8-12 years of experience working as a Integration Engineer / Software Engineer / SDET / DevOps Engineer.
Skills: Strong expertise with CI/CD tools, experienced programmer (Python preferred), experience using LLM assistants for development and configuration.
Communications: Comfortable collaborating across an international team.
Teamwork: Self-driven individual with a proven track record of completing projects with minimal guidance.
Familiarity with Python, JavaScript, java, and C#.
Knowledge of bamboo, GitHub, AsciiDoc, markdown.
Familiarity with container-based technologies, AWS, Azure.
Strong ability to meet deadlines and work independently.
Pay TransparencyIf provided, base salary or wage rate ranges are the range in which Align reasonably expects to set a candidate’s pay for the posted position. Actual placement depends on the individual skills and experience level of a candidate plus the total compensation and equity across team members. For other locations outside of the primary location, the base salary range will be adjusted geographically. For Field Sales roles, the salary listed is the base pay only and does not include the applicable incentive compensation plan. A cost of living adjustment may be added to base pay for higher cost areas in the U.S. Our internship hourly rates are a standard pay determined based on the position and your location, year in school, degree, and experience.
