Role Overview:
As a Group Product Manager for Marketing at Albertsons India Capability Center, you will play a strategic leadership role in defining the product vision and roadmap for digital marketing campaigns. Your expertise in product management, combined with a deep understanding of the retail and grocery industry, will be crucial in enhancing personalized marketing campaigns and driving business KPIs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide tactical guidance to a team of product managers in organizing, defining, prioritizing, and delivering features for targeted and 1:1 personalized marketing campaigns.
- Define the product vision and roadmap for the marketing product sub pillar, collect and interpret user research and data, conceive creative products, create a robust product roadmap, and manage the product lifecycle.
- Influence stakeholders and team members to succeed in delivering impactful products that create exceptional value for associates, vendor partners, and customers.
- Provide expertise on larger and more complex initiatives and projects within the Marketing Product portfolio.
- Translate user needs into requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria in an Agile environment, working effectively with cross-functional teams to drive positive outcomes.
- Stay updated on market trends, customer needs, and the competitive landscape to shape the product roadmap and strategy accordingly.
- Lead the full product lifecycle from strategy to execution for customer-facing digital capabilities, ensuring quality delivery with onshore and offshore engineering teams.
- Improve product management practices, vision, creativity, ownership, hiring, mentoring, and team culture within the organization.
Qualifications Required:
- Bachelors degree in computer science, engineering, business, or related field. Masters degree or MBA preferred.
- 8+ years of product management experience in digital marketing, eCommerce, and/or retail-facing industries.
- Strong customer obsession, strategic mindset, critical thinking, bias for action, data savvy, and technical proficiency in modern cloud native marketing and advertising tech stacks.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, ability to align cross-functional teams, and influence conversations to drive positive outcomes.
- Proven track record of designing and delivering delightful customer experiences that create business value.
- Demonstrated ability to develop product strategies, communicate recommendations to executive management, and lead product vision and execution.
- Experience working with engineering teams, sprint planning, backlog management, feature prioritization, and technical task sizing in an Agile environment.
