Your Opportunity:
Reporting to the Unit Manager of the Women's Health Ambulatory Clinics. The Research Assistant I position will support the research projects for the Lois Hole Hospital for Women (LHHW) Hereditary Breast and Ovarian Cancer Clinic (HBOC) and other ambulatory clinic's programs. The Research Assistant is responsible for pulling data from various sources and inputting the data into various databases. The incumbent will also perform a variety of responsibilities in support of research activities and/or research studies including but not limited to preparing and submitting research documents; collecting and reviewing data or information; and monitoring study compliance.
Description
As a Research I, you will be working with research teams which are generating and disseminating new knowledge that assists with advancing the understanding of health disciplines and various health and medical concerns. Working under the guidance of the principal investigator, you will be responsible for preparing and submitting research documents, collecting and reviewing a variety of information related to the study, and monitoring study compliance. You will also assist with the recruitment of study participants and initiate consenting of study and/or trial participants and may complete lab work to support research activities.

Required Qualifications:
Diploma or degree in a health or science related field. Registration with applicable professional association or college where required.
Additional Required Qualifications:
Minimum one year of research support experience. Demonstrated ability to effectively manage/coordinate simultaneous projects and successfully prioritize multiple tasks to meet deadlines. Ability to work effectively with senior clinical research leaders and investigators. Required to sit or stand for extended periods of time up to 6-8 hours. Regularly required to perform repetitive tasks and motions. Lift and or carry up to 10 lbs.
