Nos équipes produit et développement doivent évoluer pour suivre le rythme de l’enrichissement de notre offre et fournir les meilleures plateformes cloud possibles, en garantissant l’excellence technique grâce à des déploiements fluides, à la résilience, à la scalabilité et à la maîtrise des coûts.

C’est pourquoi nous recherchons un(e) Ingénieur en fiabilité des sites supplémentaire pour accompagner la croissance de nos solutions cloud (par exemple, déployer, maintenir et superviser des environnements cloud sur plusieurs fuseaux horaires). La prise de décision est une responsabilité partagée entre les équipes plateforme et produit. De bonnes compétences en communication, la capacité à comprendre le point de vue des autres parties prenantes, ainsi que l’aptitude à faire des compromis afin de trouver la solution optimale, sont donc également essentielles.

En tant qu'Ingénieur en fiabilité des sites, vos missions principales incluront notamment :

• Maintenir et améliorer nos dépôts d’infrastructure as code (Terraform) afin de garantir la fiabilité et la résilience des produits cloud d’Akur8
• Contribuer à l’élargissement de l’offre produit d’Akur8 tout en maintenant nos SLO
• Renforcer l’automatisation et l’orchestration des pipelines afin de réduire les tâches manuelles répétitives
• Former et accompagner les équipes sur les bonnes pratiques DevOps au sein de l’organisation
• Contribuer à la conception de l’architecture de nos plateformes AWS et Azure, en collaboration avec les équipes produit et développement, afin d’améliorer les performances, la fiabilité, la maîtrise des coûts et de supporter de nouvelles fonctionnalités pour nos produits
• Nous aider à améliorer en continu le monitoring et l’observabilité, principalement via Datadog
• Contribuer à nos pipelines CI (GitHub Actions), en veillant à ce que les bonnes pratiques soient toujours appliquées lors de l’utilisation de conteneurs (Docker)
• Travailler en étroite collaboration avec notre équipe Security pour sécuriser nos workloads, en maintenant les standards et bonnes pratiques de sécurité IT, et en participant à la mise en place de scans d’infrastructure
• Contribuer à des projets open source lorsque cela est pertinent
• Participer activement à l’astreinte (1 semaine toutes les 4 à 6 semaines)

Qualifications

Nous recherchons des personnes capables d’accompagner la croissance de notre plateforme. N’hésitez pas à postuler si vous possédez les qualifications suivantes :

• Diplôme en informatique, en technologies de l’information ou dans un domaine connexe, ou expérience équivalente.
• Au moins 5 ans d’expérience professionnelle dans la configuration, la surveillance et la maintenance de systèmes AWS et/ou Azure en production, à travers l’ensemble du cycle de vie du développement logiciel.
• Solide expérience concrète avec Terraform dans des environnements AWS et/ou Azure.
• Expérience récente du déploiement, de la surveillance, de l’optimisation et de la maintenance de charges de travail Kubernetes et/ou Nomad.
• Excellente maîtrise de TeamCity et GitHub, y compris des workflows et de GitHub Actions.
• Bonne expérience avec AWS CloudFormation.
• Bonne connaissance des concepts et des meilleures pratiques en cybersécurité (par exemple : sécurité réseau, pare-feu, chiffrement des flux, gestion des secrets, gestion des correctifs de sécurité, gestion des identités, etc.).
• Intérêt marqué pour la collaboration avec différentes équipes internes, notamment en ingénierie logicielle, sécurité IT, opérations IT et plateforme.
• Volonté d’être à la fois très opérationnel(le) et de promouvoir les meilleures pratiques DevOps au sein de l’organisation.
• Curiosité et capacité à remettre en question le statu quo, tout en faisant preuve de pragmatisme.
• Capacité à travailler de façon autonome et souplesse face au changement.
• Excellentes aptitudes en communication, à l’oral comme à l’écrit.
• Excellente maîtrise de l’anglais, tant à l’oral qu’à l’écrit, le français constituant un atout.

Compétences bonus

• Compétences en programmation avec C# et .NET
• Expérience avec d’autres langages de programmation comme Python ou Bash
• Solide expérience avec SQL et les bases de données PostgreSQL, ainsi que leur optimisation

That's why we're looking for an additional Site Reliability Engineer to help manage the growth of our international cloud based solutions (e.g., deploying, maintaining, and monitoring cloud environments across multiple time zones) decision making is a shared responsibility between the platform and product teams, so good communication skills, the ability to understand other stakeholders' points of view, and the ability to compromise to find the optimal solution are also important.

As a Site Reliability Engineer, your typical set of missions will include:

• Maintain and improve our infrastructure as code repositories (Terraform) to ensure Akur8's cloud products remains reliable and resilient
• Contributing to the expansion of Akur8's product offering whilst maintaining our SLOs
• Increase automation and pipeline orchestration to remove toil
• Mentoring and teaching DevOps best practices throughout our organization
• Contributing architecture designs for our AWS and Azure platforms, in collaboration with our development and product team, to improve performance, reliability, cost-effectiveness and support new features for our products
• Help us continuously improve on monitoring and observability (mainly via Datadog)
• Contributing to our CI pipelines (GitHub Actions) ensuring best practices are always applied when dealing with containers (Docker)
• Working closely with our Security team to securing our workloads, by maintaining IT security standards & best practices, participating in building infrastructure scans
• Contributing towards open-source projects where appropriate
• Actively participate in on-call rotation (1 week per 4-6 weeks)

We Look For Innovative And Rigorous Minds That Are Capable Of Helping Our Platform Grow, So Don't Hesitate To Apply If You Possess:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• A minimum of 5 years professional experience of configuring, monitoring and maintenance of production AWS and/or Azure systems throughout the entire SDLC.
• Solid demonstrable experience with Terraform targeting AWS and/or Azure.
• Recent experience deploying, monitoring, tuning and maintaining Kubernetes and/or Nomad workloads.
• Strong experience with both TeamCity and GitHub, workflows and actions.
• Solid experience using AWS CloudFormation.
• Familiarity with the concepts of IT Security ‘best practice’ (i.e. Network Security, Firewalls & Flows Encryption, Secrets Management, Security Patch Management, Cloud identity & Access Management, etc.)
• An enthusiasm to collaborate with other internal stakeholders (Software Engineering, IT Security, IT Operations, Platform).
• A willingness to be ‘hands-on’ / operational while simultaneously evangelising on DevOps best practices.
• The curiosity / ability to challenge the status-quo, while being pragmatic.
• The ability to work autonomously and the flexibility to embrace change.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Fluent English language skills (spoken & written), French is a plus.

Bonus Skills

• Programming capabilities with C# and .NET
• Experience with additional programming languages such as Python or Bash
• Strong experience with SQL and PostgreSQL datastores and their optimization
