POSITION SUMMARY
The Production Supervisor will oversee daily manufacturing operations at our Frederick, Maryland location, providing guidance and support to operators while ensuring strict adherence to safety standards, production efficiency, and quality control. This role involves managing staff, optimizing workflows, and implementing best practices to drive productivity and achieve production goals.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain a safe and clean environment by educating and directing personnel on the use to the right tools and following set standards.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, regulatory standards and company's policies.
- Maintains quality products and processes by establishing standards for all areas.
- Supervise and coordinate daily production activities to achieve set targets.
- Completes production plan by scheduling and assigning personnel to the right areas, accomplishing work results, establishing priorities, monitoring progress, resolving problems, and reporting results of the processing flow at the end of every shift.
- Train, coach, and evaluate production staff to enhance performance.
- Maintains workflow by monitoring production metrics, identifying barriers to flow and implementing process improvements while fostering a spirit of cooperation within and between departments.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth workflow and timely delivery.
- Conduct regular inspections and maintain equipment to minimize downtime.
- Accomplishes manufacturing results by communicating clear job expectations.
- Responsible for disciplining employees (as needed) aligned with the company’s policies and procedures.
- Analyzes manufacturing processes performance, compiles data and provides manufacturing reports in a timely manner.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:
- College Degree (preferred)
- Basic understanding of safety standards and OSHA regulations.
- 3+ years’ experience in a manufacturing environment (HVAC preferred).
- Prior supervisory experience within the manufacturing industry (HVAC preferred).
- Time and process management skills.
- Strong knowledge of safety, manufacturing processes and quality control.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Attention to detail.
- Lean/Continuous Improvement Application experience (3 years preferred).
