About the Role
At Airtel, the Strategy & Policy Office plays a critical role at the intersection of regulation, business strategy, and policy advocacy. This is a high-impact role requiring a mix of creativity, analytical rigor, and a strong understanding of regulatory frameworks.
The individual will act as both a strategic analyst and an execution partner helping to frame policy narratives, manage external engagement, and guide internal stakeholders on regulatory implications that affect Airtel’s diverse businesses across telecom, digital, financial services, entertainment, and distribution.
Key Responsibilities
▪ Develop and articulate policy positions across telecom, broadcasting, financial services, entertainment, and digital ecosystems.
▪ Track, monitor, and analyse competition, market and regulatory trends & provide strategic updates to support policy advocacy.
▪ Prepare briefing notes, presentations, regulatory submissions, and communication strategies to influence key stakeholders.
▪ Standardize reporting mechanisms to track regulatory engagements and advocacy outcomes.
▪ Collaborate with stakeholders within Regulatory team and other cross functional teams (Legal, Compliance, Product, Network, Ops, etc.) to ensure alignment of business goals with evolving regulatory priorities.
▪ Support the CRO in prioritization, resource planning, and coordination of high-impact projects across multiple business lines.

Qualifications & Experience
▪ Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Law, Finance, or related field (Master’s preferred).
▪ 2–4 years of experience in policy, research or a related strategic function, preferably in telecom, digital, or technology-driven sectors.
▪ Strong understanding of India’s telecom, digital, and data policy landscape; international exposure will be an added advantage.
▪ Proficient in data analysis tools (Excel, Power BI, Tableau, SQL preferred).
▪ Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
▪ Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
