Pipeline Technician (Contract – Peace Region)

Open to candidates based in Grande Prairie, Fairview, or Spirit River. This is a long‑term contract role supporting field operations and pipeline integrity across multiple upstream assets. Targeting intermediate to senior technicians with strong field experience.

Responsibilities

• Support day‑to‑day pipeline operations and integrity activities
• Perform ROW surveillance, leak detection, valve checks, and routine field inspections
• Run cleaning, batching, and inspection pigs
• Conduct cathodic protection work, including surveys and rectifier checks
• Assist with integrity digs, coating repairs, and anomaly assessments
• Support small pipeline projects, tie‑ins, and maintenance work
• Maintain strong safety practices and documentation

Preferred Background

• Field operations or production operations experience
• NACE/AMPP certification (CP1/CP2 preferred)
• Experience with pigging, CP systems, and pipeline surveillance
• WHMIS, TDG, H2S, and strong safety training
• Chemical or production operations background is an asset
