Role Description

This is a hybrid internship role for a Journalist based in Barrackpur-I, with the flexibility to work remotely on select tasks. The Journalist will be responsible for researching, writing, and editing news stories, press releases, and features. Additional responsibilities include covering current events, engaging in investigative reporting, and assisting with broadcasting projects.

The role offers an opportunity to collaborate closely with team members while contributing to high-impact, socially relevant journalism.

Qualifications

• Strong writing skills, including experience in News Writing and crafting Press Releases
• Proficiency in conducting in-depth Research and fact-checking
• Basic knowledge of Broadcasting and related tools or platforms
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team
• Passion for telling impactful stories with a focus on regional and socio-political topics
• Proficiency in English and Bengali is highly advantageous
• Pursuing a degree in Journalism, Communications, or a related field is preferred
