Advoc Digital is a Toronto-based digital marketing agency helping DTC brands grow through paid media and content strategy, with a focus on wine, beverage, and premium food brands. Our campaigns are data-driven, conversion-focused, and built to scale across Meta, Google, TikTok, and other digital platforms.
We’re looking for an experienced Senior Paid Media Specialist to manage paid media strategy, execution, optimization, and reporting as we continue to grow our DTC client base.
Position Details
Position: Senior Paid Media Specialist
Start Date: Immediate
Salary: $70,000 to $80,000 per year, commensurate with experience
Employment: Full-time
Work Model: Hybrid, 3 days in office
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Location: #2000 - 2 Sheppard Ave E, North York, ON M2N 5Y7

Role Description
As Senior Paid Media Specialist, you’ll own the day-to-day performance of paid media campaigns for assigned DTC e-commerce clients. You’ll report to the Head of Operations and work closely with account and creative teams to ensure campaigns are strategically aligned, properly executed, and continuously improved.
This is a senior, hands-on role for someone who is analytical, detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working independently in a growing agency environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, launch, manage, and optimize campaigns across Meta, Google, TikTok, and other relevant paid media platforms
- Monitor campaign performance, budgets, pacing, and KPIs to identify opportunities for improvement
- Develop creative testing strategies, including hooks, messaging angles, formats, and frameworks for evaluating ad performance
- Conduct audience research, keyword research, segmentation, A/B testing, and funnel analysis
- Set up and maintain tracking infrastructure, including UTMs, GA4, Meta Pixel, CAPI, and platform-specific conversion tracking
- Troubleshoot ad delivery issues, tracking discrepancies, attribution gaps, and platform compliance concerns
- Prepare weekly performance updates, campaign recaps, and analytics reports for internal and client-facing use
- Communicate campaign insights, performance trends, and optimization recommendations clearly to internal teams and clients
- Stay current on paid social, e-commerce marketing, platform changes, AI tools, and performance marketing best practices
- Contribute to Advoc’s paid media systems, testing frameworks, documentation, and overall practice development
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on paid media experience, preferably with DTC or e-commerce brands
- Previous agency experience is required
- Deep expertise in Meta Ads, with a proven track record running conversion-focused campaigns for e-commerce clients
- Strong working knowledge of Google Ads, including Search, Shopping, and Performance Max
- Solid understanding of e-commerce tracking and attribution, including GA4, UTMs, Meta Pixel, CAPI, and conversion optimization
- Strong creative strategy skills and ability to identify what makes ads convert
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable presenting campaign performance to clients and answering questions professionally
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple client accounts independently
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with TikTok Ads and other emerging social platforms
- Experience working with wine, beverage, food, or other premium DTC brands
- Familiarity with Klaviyo, Commerce7, Shopify, server-side GTM implementations, or advanced tracking setups
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, Communications, or a related field
