Data Scientist and ML Engineer

We have an excellent use case for an AI/ML project. We are putting together a unique Data Science and Machine Learning (ML) team to execute this use case. I promise that this will be an excellent learning experience in this fast evolving field with very real / tangible value generating use case. We work in the field of Solar Energy, Energy Storage and EV Infrastructure.

The team will consist of the following and anyone fitting these roles, please reach out to me (Connect, DM or Email me).

1. a data scientist with experience in driving classification models, vision models for information extraction, experimentation and gathering of ground truth dataset etc.

2. a Machine Learning engineer with expertise in Python, integrating with AI models including LLMs, MLOps.

3. Java/cloud software engineers to integrate with non-AI systems and set up infrastructure etc.

4. a software quality engineer (QE)

In all of these roles, we need strong inclination to work with coding assistants like Co-pilot, Claude code for accelerated software development.

Location - Indore, M.P or Remote in India (or work / collaborate in India time zone if internationally located).

The ideal candidate's favorite words are learning, data, scale, and agility. You will leverage your strong collaboration skills and ability to extract valuable insights from highly complex data sets to ask the right questions and find the right answers.

Responsibilities

• Analyze raw data: assessing quality, cleansing, structuring for downstream processing
• Design accurate and scalable prediction algorithms
• Collaborate with engineering / ML team to bring analytical prototypes to production
• Generate actionable insights for business improvements

Qualifications

• Deep understanding of predictive modeling, machine-learning, clustering and classification techniques, and algorithms
• Experience with OCR or Image processing based information retrieval
• Fluency in a programming language (Python, C,C++, Java, SQL) within Machine Learning space.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in quantative field (Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, etc.)
• At least 5 years' of experience in quantitative analytics or data modeling
• Familiarity with Big Data frameworks and visualization tools (Power BI, Cassandra, Hadoop, Spark, Tableau)
• Strong inclination to use existing and developing LLM or MLOps models
