Vice President of Sales – Canada | FMCG / Confectionery Industry

Adecco Canada is currently partnering with a globally recognized and rapidly expanding confectionery organization to appoint a Vice President of Sales – Canada.

This is a rare executive leadership opportunity to build and scale a market for a company already operating successfully across 50+ countries worldwide and continuing to experience strong international growth.

About the organization

Its is ranked among the Top 50 candy companies globally in the 2026 Candy Industry Top 100 rankings and supplies major global retailers including Costco, Walmart, Sam’s Club, Target, 7-Eleven and others. Their products have also gained strong visibility across the Canadian market, including retailers such as Costco, Walmart, Dollarama, and additional national accounts.

The Role

This newly created position will report directly to global leadership and will be fully responsible for the Canadian commercial strategy, market expansion, channel development, and long-term business growth.

This is not a maintenance leadership role. The mandate is to build, expand, and scale.

Key responsibilities include

  • Defining and executing the overall Canadian business and growth strategy
  • Driving revenue growth, market penetration, and national account expansion
  • Building and strengthening retail, distribution, and strategic channel partnerships
  • Leading negotiations and executive-level customer relationships across Canada
  • Identifying new market opportunities, channels, and commercial partnerships
  • Building and leading the future Canadian team structure as the business scales
  • Working closely with global leadership to localize and execute strategic initiatives
  • Using market intelligence, consumer trends, and competitive analysis to drive decision-making The ideal profile will likely come from:
  • Senior leadership backgrounds within FMCG / CPG environments
  • Confectionery, snacks, food, beverage, or adjacent consumer categories
  • Organizations of similar multinational environments
  • Leaders with proven experience scaling brands, launching products, expanding channels, or growing national business units within Canada The organization is looking for a commercially strong and entrepreneurial leader who is comfortable operating in a fast-growth environment where visibility, ownership, and impact are significant.

Location

Canada (remote flexibility, preference for major Canadian markets)

Compensation

Base salary targeted in the range of CAD $200,000 – $300,000 plus annual bonus, allowances, and long-term growth opportunity.

Given the nature of the role, candidates with strong national retail relationships and experience managing large strategic accounts across Canada will be particularly well positioned.
