Summary

We are looking for an organized and reliable Logistics Office Administrator to support our avalanche and mountain safety operations behind the scenes.

This role involves coordinating travel, assisting with administrative systems, supporting financial tracking (AP/AR), and helping maintain organized safety documentation for our projects and field teams.

The position is fully remote and offers a flexible schedule, making it ideal for someone who values autonomy, adaptability, and a work-from-anywhere lifestyle.

Responsibilities

Travel & Logistics Coordination

  • Booking flights, accommodations, and travel arrangements for field teams
  • Assisting with travel changes or delays when needed
  • Helping coordinate schedules and project logistics

Administrative & Financial Support

  • Supporting accounts payable and receivable tracking
  • Organizing invoices, receipts, and project-related records
  • Maintaining accurate digital files and spreadsheets

Safety Program Administration

  • Assisting with safety documentation and tracking certifications/expiries
  • Organizing safety records and project files
  • Supporting operational compliance and reporting systems

General Operations Support

  • Communicating with team members and leadership
  • Helping keep projects and systems organized and running smoothly
  • Supporting day-to-day operational administration as needed

Qualifications

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Experience in administration, logistics, operations, bookkeeping, or coordination roles is preferred.
  • Experience in remote operations, industrial work, mining, guiding, or outdoor industries is considered an asset but is not required.
  • Detail-oriented and dependable
  • Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to adapt when schedules or priorities shift
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • We're looking for reliability, initiative, and good people who communicate well and enjoy helping things run smoothly behind the scenes.

Work Structure

  • Contractor position
  • Flexible work hours
  • Remote/work-from-anywhere opportunity
  • Approx. 40–80 hours per month to start
  • Some responsiveness outside regular hours may occasionally be required for travel support or operational needs
